Also, anyone try the boss components?Posted October 18, 2010. Take the slide off, ease the hammer forward, push the mainspring housing retaining pin out slowly. When The pin comes out, try holding the mainspring housing in place as best you can. That keeps the sear spring from getting dislodged and also keeps the firing pin strut on the mainspring cap. This rugged, compact profile magwell is machined out of solid aircraft aluminum. It really improves the opening to enable faster reloads. Works best with Staccato / Dawson Gen 2 base pads; Will not work with factory magazine basepads supplied with Staccato P/ P DUO pistols. Base pad must have a taper on top to work. Does not fit STI Gen 1 grips. The QVO Tactical CS "X" Mainspring Housing Extension is now available.
