Once disconnected from the PEX lines the Y-connector may be removed from the clip and adapter. Wrench turned out to be the wrong size for my Delta Innovations Model 544CBWF Single Handle Bathroom Sink Faucet which has a Domed brass Bonnet Cap (Part #RP1050PB). This plastic wrench was slightly too big and therefore provides no grip whatsover on the domed cap. Step 2: Open the base. In the base of your faucet, you’ll find a set screw holding it in place. Using an Allen wrench, remove this screw and place it somewhere safe. If you don’t have the necessary tools, a Delta repair kit has everything you need for this process.
